To say Zak was an amazing dog is an understatement. He touched everyone he met both dog and human. I have never before had a dog like him and never will again, I could not be that lucky twice in a lifetime.

Zak was bombproof with every human no matter how big or small, or whatever their character. Dogs completely respected him and rarely pushed him, he had an alpha presence that was loved and recognised by all dogs big or small. He was a fabulous ambassador for the breed and helped many people overcome their fear of dogs and German Shepherds.

It is impossible to express our relationship in words, so I won’t even try. Suffice to say that I will never, ever forget him.
